Hello there. I’m Kayla. I got into the beauty industry because I love making people feel good and confident about themselves. When I get the chance to serve our guests and team members, and help to make their lives better, I am a happy Kayla. 🙂
Over the years in the beauty industry, I have worked in different salon and spa structures, been an instructor at a local cosmetology school, and evolved my company into the one we are today.
The beauty industry needs a serious makeover…pun intended. In my opinion, the traditional way salons and spas run doesn’t work anymore. It creates unhealthy competition, unstable pay structures, and it makes life harder. That’s why I created Enlightened Beauty; to be a safe space to learn and grow. My plan is to franchise Enlightened Beauty so more salon owners and their teams can enjoy their careers to their fullest, while creating a healthy and supportive atmosphere for guests to visit. I also plan to open a micro beauty school where I can teach these radical changes and healthy lifestyles for a better future for our beauty industry.
When I’m not doing all things beauty, you can find me at home with my fur children and my Sam. I have the very best friends and team, and their support means the world to me. It’s tough work, being an entrepreneur, and I also wouldn’t have it any other way.
