Jac's Current Fave Products

It's been a whirlwind two years at Enlightened Beauty, and this past year has had so many great product launches. It's so hard to choose my staples and even harder to narrow those down to a Top 5, but I'm going to try my absolute best. Here we goooo!

[comfort zone] Remedy Cream to Oil Cleanser

My very very tippy top favorite product of the entire year is the [comfort zone] Remedy Cream to Oil cleanser. As a skin therapist, I've worked with so many product lines over the years. Some I've loved, some I don't mind if I ever work with again, and some were just alright. The [comfort zone] Remedy Line is by far my favorite line I have ever touched, used, and recommended. As a sensitive skin girly (yes, even skin therapists deal with skin issues), this cleanser has calmed down my redness-prone skin and made it smoother and softer than I ever thought possible. It strips my skin of all the makeup, bacteria, and oils that build up during the day but leaves it silky- not dry, like a lot of different brands would. I cleanse once with it and then repeat once more. I can physically see the oils and dirt being brought out of my skin, which excites me. A gentle cleanser that actually cleans your skin and keeps it soft? What more do you need?

Trinity Repair Tonic from Surface

My second favorite product that has actually changed my life is the Trinity Repair Tonic from Surface. This year I learned a lot about haircare. Like that brushing it every day (sometimes multiple times a day) is good for you! LOL. Hair isn't my career, clearly. Since I've been using Trinity Tonic, my hair has grown so much and stayed so soft and healthy at the tips- something I was sure was never going to happen for me.

Fur Body Butter

My close third was the Fur Body Butter. This is a complete GAME CHANGER. Not only is it thick and moisturizing, but it is NOT greasy- it doesn't leave residue or fingerprints on anything after it's absorbed into the skin. For once, the calluses on my feet are soft, and my skin doesn't have a chance to get itchy because this body butter is ON TOP of it. If you have some extra dry skin or patches, try applying it over a thin layer of Fur Oil and thank me later.😉

Essential Scrub

My fourth product is my tried and true Essential Scrub. Chances are, if you've visited me in the Zen Den, you've heard me give a speech or, at the very least, mention this scrub. It smells so fresh and clean, leaving the skin feeling the same way. The turning point of this product for me was when one of my guests took a tube home to exfoliate some pesky milia around her upper cheek area. She could manually FLICK the milia out of her skin after consistently using it for a week and a half. My jaw absolutely dropped. I have NEVER worked with a scrub that could make that happen in that short of time. Especially such a gentle one. 12/10. I will recommend it to anyone I see who needs a good scrub- dry, oily, or otherwise.

Fur Deodorant

The fifth and final product that I couldn't live without is our Fur Deodorant. We all pride ourselves on using the most natural, safe ingredients for ourselves and our guests. If you're like us in that regard, you know that most “natural” deodorants don't last or work as well as they are marketed as, so to say we were weary was an understatement. Without telling anyone, the three of us ordered three testers to use every day for a week before we reconvened and shared our thoughts. We all stared at each other in our meeting before exclaiming that we LOVED it, and it actually worked! Not only did we smell GOOD after our 10-hour work days, but our underarms were soft and clear- no white chunks, gunk, or flakes, and NO ODOR. I will never look back. Like ever.
